Southern Region Conference Donor Campaign

In conjunction with the 2017 BOMA Southern Region Conference, we have set a goal for 75 companies and individuals to make a $75 tax-deductible donation or more to the BOMA Georgia Foundation’s Rutledge Beacham Fund. Rutledge made a tremendously positive impact on so many people through his involvement in the Southern Region, and this campaign will help to ensure his impact continues through funding scholarships and research.

Companies, organizations, and individuals who donate $75 to the fund will be recognized in an issue of the Southern Region Conference eNewsletter, on the Foundation website, and on the Southern Region Conference website.

Since it was established, the BOMA Georgia Foundation has awarded 162 scholarships, conducted 5 research projects, and released 1 white paper. Your support will help us make an even bigger impact this year, while also honoring Rutledge.

Thank you to our Southern Region Rutledge Beacham Fund Donors

The Rutledge Beacham Education and Research Fund

Rutledge Beacham was perhaps one of the most well-known and well-respected commercial real estate industry executives in the Metro Atlanta area. His impact was felt far beyond the borders of Atlanta and our state.  In 1978, Beacham joined Carter and Associates. His optimistic attitude helped him become a trusted property manager and familiar face at the properties for which he was responsible. During the 1990s, Beacham managed numerous responsibilities including leasing at East Jefferson Medical Plaza in New Orleans, developing the Quality Assurance Program for property and facility management and assisting various training programs. He was also involved in the Society of Property Administrators and the Brookhaven-Club-Area Neighborhood Association.

Rutledge was also an active BOMA member serving as BOMA-Atlanta president, and BOMA Southern Region president. He was also recognized with BOMA-Atlanta's highest honor, the Huey Award, and was awarded Life Membership in the Southern Region.

About the Fund

The Rutledge Beacham Education and Research Fund will be a permanent endowment that recognizes the professional contributions Rutledge Beacham made to the real estate industry and the personal impact he made on so many people.

Individuals and companies who donate to the fund will be recognized on the Foundation website.

You can donate as a company or individual by selecting from the appropriate donation button on the left-hand side below.

I am so thrilled that the BOMA Georgia Foundation is naming this education and research fund for Rutledge.  He was extremely passionate about every associate continuing to learn all that they can about buildings, systems, customer service, reporting and all other aspects of our industry.  He would be honored to know of this outreach effort and would be humbled and honored to have this fund set up in his name.
